Few days ago, I installed VS.net 2005 and it already installed SQL
Express on my machine. I also have installed Management Studio Express
CTP,Books Online, Samples and upgrade advisor.
Now, I want to install SQL 2005 Developer Edition. Search on this
forum, and found posts that recommend to remove all express edition
stuff first. I went to add/remove programs and found this componets
are installed on my machine. Beside SQL Server 2000 I have SQL Server
2005, MS SQL Server management studio express, 2005 Books online, 2005
upgrade advisor, SQL Server vss writer, SQL server native client and
SQL Server set up support files.
Question is what should I remove without adversely affecting SQL 2000
installed on my machine?None of the ones you listed should affect SQL Server 2000.
