Instance NetSDK
I have a question about SQL Server / MSDE. Iâ'm trying install and to configure the documentation of the .NET Framework 1.1 but I have a problem because is necessary contain a instance: â'Local\NetSDKâ' (Local is the same the principal instance) second information about details of the configuration
Iâ'm working with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 â' Personal Edition and I have listed in SQL Server Service Manager only: â'Localâ'
How I make to create the instance: â'NetSDKâ'
Your
ThankI'm not sure why that SDK needs an instance of SQL Server with that
particular name, but I'd have thought it would create the instance during
it's installation...
Anyway, to create a named instance of SQL Server, you have to install it
again & you get the chance to provide the instance name during the
installation process.

Installing sql notification service
Installing SQL Mobile 2005
However, SQL Mobile 2005 seems to require you to know the processor which your mobile device uses - there are only CAB files available to do the install.
Have Microsoft made an MSI file available to make this process easier?
matt.
All Windows Mobile (5 and 6) devices use the same processor architecture - ARM, so the problem is minimal.
Installing SQL EXpress with older SQL Server?
Hello,
Can I install SQL Express on Windows 2003 server which also has SQL Server 2000?
I already have .NET 2.0 Framework installed.
Should I download the full version of SSE?
Thanks
Frank
Hi,
"Can I install SQL Express on Windows 2003 server which also has SQL Server 2000?"
-Yes, you can.
"Should I download the full version of SSE?"
If you need the features of the advanced edition, go for it.

Installing SQL
I get the message:
Sql Server 2005 Setup has detected incompatible components from beta versions of Visual Studio, .Net Framework, or Sql Server 2005. Use Add or Remove Programs to remove these components, and then run SQL Server 2005 again.
I have run the program vs_uninst_betas.exe but this did not help.
Please some help
Hi,go in the ADD/REMOVE Programs in the control panel and install every beta product which used .NET 2.0 beta like SQL Server 2005 beta 1/2/3 , Yukon, VS Express, VS Net etc. and/or additionally the -NET Framework package by itself.
