I am trying to determine why I can not install SQL 2000 on
a new Windows 2003 Server.
In Task Manager I do se the wowexec running, but it does
nothing, does not access memory or cpu usage.
It just sits there and does nothing.
Has anyone installed SQL on 2003 Server?Yes,i has.
But if you install SQL 2000 to Windows 2003,it's recommended that you should
be install sql 2000 sp3 up.

rd edition allow SQL 2K installation not the Web Edition. Also make sure you
install SQL 2K SP3a later.
